I soft-launched my new website a couple of weeks ago, but I’ve kept it pretty quiet while I touched up the last few things. It’s been a long time coming, and it feels really good to get to this point. I’ve wanted to replace my old site for a while, but time is never easy to come by. Even harder when you’re busy working on client’s projects.

I’ve put a lot of time and work into the portfolio section of the site, since that’s what I really want to showcase. The main reason I’ve put this website together is, as it’s boldly called out on the landing page – I’m looking for an Art Direction job. If you think I’d be a good fit for your company, or know someone looking for my skills, please get in touch.

For those wondering, all the photos in my portfolio were shot using my Panasonic Lumix LX3 (http://www2 NULL.panasonic NULL.com/consumer-electronics/shop/Cameras-Camcorders/Digital-Cameras/Lumix-Digital-Cameras/model NULL.DMC-LX3K_11002_7000000000000005702) (a killer camera) and a temporary photo cove set up in my living room with some white seamless. This is just one of the many tricks I learned while working at MacNeil Bikes (http://www NULL.macneilbmx NULL.com)/Ten Pack (http://tenpackbmx NULL.com/) – when your budget is non-existent, you learn how to make the most of what you have lying around.

The last couple photos shown here are how I organized my digital portfolio, using more analog methods. Sometimes the old way of doing things is the quickest and most logical route. Trying to sort the order of the 80+ projects in the portfolio took quite a bit of time and I needed to see it from a birds eye view, so printing out thumbnails, and sorting by hand truly was the best way.

Take a few minutes to check out my portfolio… and let me know what you think. Be sure to click on the large previews to really take a good look at the projects.
