I designed the Ruben Alcantara interview layout for the 2003 MacNeil Bikes catalogue, entitled the ‘MacNeil Annual’. The catalogue was designed as a large-format magazine which included interviews and close-ups with some of the team riders, alongside all the newest products. It was very well accepted at the Interbike trade show that year in Las Vegas, and it was decided that we HAD to do the annual every year.
Unfortunately, the ‘annual’ never made it past that first year.
